Baths, like people, are not all the same shape or size!

When choosing, take into account space available and how it will be used; is it intended for just bathing or will it also be used as a shower?

Other Options

Double-ended baths for two to share

Many of the baths we sell are double-ended, meaning that there is a gentle slope each end allowing two to enjoy bathing at the same time; this is also assisted by fitting the waste and overflow in the centre of the bath and not the end. Be aware that if a double-ended bath is standard dimensions then because of the internal shape the overall internal length will be less than a conventional bath, so if possible go for the larger size which is 180x80cm. There are some very good quality acrylic baths of this size available for as little as 265.00 inc. vat and even bigger i.e. 190x90cm for little additional cost if space allows. For as little as 495.00 inc vat we could also arrange to have a whirlpool fitted for that extra touch of luxury. Again there are many whirlpool options available and if this is of interest we will be pleased to demonstrate our working example in our showroom.

Corner baths

Corner baths are no longer very popular but there are still quite a few sizes manufactured in acrylic, so if you are looking to replace one or considering it as an option we will be happy to assist, although at this present time we do not have one on display in our showroom.

Bath handles

Handles are not often available on baths, the reason being that although very popular some years ago it is argued that they were not very useful because of where they were positioned. Most of us put our hands behind our bodies and leaver ourselves up out of the bath and the majority of grips fitted are positioned in front of us when sitting in the tub, so for most of us they were of little or no use. However not everyone agrees! We have on display two baths fitted with grips, coincidently they are both manufactured from steel but there are also options available in acrylic.
